About me

The piano has always been something special for me. Far beyond a hobby, the piano helps me keep my mental balance and develop my intelligence. As a self-taught musician I had to study scores and theories on my own and in a practical and effective way. Then in a short time, and with the method I developed for myself, I was able to play the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven in my first months of learning. After one year, I was already playing more complex compositions by Chopin, Bach and Liszt. I’ve had more than 40 students, many of whom are already playing very well. In such a brief period of learning I have already won one regional contest.

My name is Amir and I’m from Brazil. As incredible as it may seem, my profession is not a musician. I’m an entrepreneur, a lawyer and a professional translator and polyglot. Currently, In my spare time I like to teach piano, compose classical music and play wherever I can. In addition to piano, I am well versed in the saxophone and flute. I also play a little guitar, violin and harmonica.
